Plastic Wood is NOT the same as composite decking. Our Plastic Wood is a SOLID Plastic dimensional lumber product, similar to traditional wood lumber; meaning it can be cut and/or routered and still have a nice smooth finished edge. It is the same sort of plastic a milk jug is made from (High Density Polyethylene); so this material is recyclable, durable against the elements of nature, and cleans up with soap and water. The lifespan of this material is typically compared to 2-3 times that of traditional wood lumber and doesn't crack, split, or splinter. There is no need for sanding, painting, or staining; the Plastic Wood will continue to look great after many years of use.
